Whiskey And Wine Tasting at the Market

We've all been there before, you're heading to a party or house warming, you want to bring a nice bottle of wine or bottle of their favorite drink, but you're not quite sure what to get. It seems like because of the big craft beer boom a few years ago, alcohol tastings have become more and more popular. Whether you're sampling wines, beers, whiskeys, or anything else, more local breweries, wineries, and shops are giving you the opportunity to taste it before you buy it. -ADVERTISEMENT- As a consumer, it gives you a chance to step out of your comfort zone a little and taste something you otherwise wouldn't spend money on. As for the businesses it allows you to try something you might fall in love with and come back to buy. Rockford City Market will be hosting the "Whiskey and Wine Tasting" on Saturday, February 22nd from 4-7 p.m. For just $50, you can sample whiskeys and wines from around the world at over 15 tables. Admission includes tastings, some light appetizers, live music, and a commemorative logo glass. Plus, you'll even have the opportunity to order any favorites right there and pick them up at a later date. If you're looking for something fun to do with friends, want to get out of the house, or just open your horizons when it comes to whiskeys and wines, check out the Rockford City Market. Cheers!
