Rockford City Market set for Aug. 3

ROCKFORD — The next Rockford City Market will be held from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 3 during First Fridays at the intersection of Water and Market streets.
At the market, Denny Diamond will perform at the main stage, and Cole Brandt will perform at the acoustic stage. The Discovery Center Museum and Easterseals will provide free crafts for children.
During First Fridays, downtown art galleries, shops and music and theater venues will stay open late for customers. In addition, Friday Night Flix will show the movie “Coco” at dusk at Davis Park, 320 S. Wyman St.
