It's a story that's been circulating through Facebook, a Jefferson High School cheer-leading coach got a major surprise after her boyfriend organized a flash mob with her team, before getting down on one knee. Matt Feery proposed in front a huge crowd at Rockford's city market. He popped the question to his girlfriend of nine years, Carmy Minneci, after a flash mob danced to Bruno Mars. Matt recruited dancers and cheerleaders from his fiance's team. She's the cheer-leading coach at Jefferson. She says having them involved made it an even more special moment. The couple says it's a day they'll never forget. "I practiced and then when I got there I changed everything I was going to say," said Feery. "The fact that he knew how important that team is to me and that he wanted to include them in our special day it was great. And to know that they care that much about me that they wanted to be a part of it, it was awesome," said Minneci. Minneci says her cheerleaders have already asked to come to the wedding. She says if they have a choreographed routine, she'll consider it. The couple is planning for a spring wedding, although no actual date has been set. Congrats to them the full video of the proposal is posted on our Facebook page.. courtesy of the user.. jerez 87.
