ROCKFORD (WREX) - A vendor that has participated in the Rockford City Market opens its own store in downtown Rockford.
Pasta Cucina is now located at 308 W. State Street inside Stewart Square. The store offers fresh handcrafted pastas made daily, flavored olive oils, aged balsamic vinegars, fresh baked bread, pestos, fresh coffee and cheeses.
"We're very excited to open our store in downtown Rockford and be a part of the revitalization process," said owner Joe D'Astice. "By taking part in the market, we were able to establish a strong customer base and learn important basics about running a business. Now we're able to continue to provide our product to our customers year- round."
