Portion of Rockford City Market lot to close

ROCKFORD — The south entrance to the Rockford City Market lot on the northeast corner of East State and North Water streets will close Aug. 23 for storm drain installation.
The southern one-third of the parking spaces will be closed off during construction, which is expected to last through Aug. 26, when it reopens for the weekly market event.
Nearby off-street parking lots include Parking Lot 11, 200 N. Water St., and Parking Lot 4, 115 N. Madison St.
