Rock River Times
The Rockford City Market season end is only a couple weeks away, but there are still plenty of goods to buy, music to listen to, and activities to participate in at the market!
Several food vendors offer food and drink to go along with the fall season. Market patrons can enjoy a hot cup of pumpkin spice coffee from JavaMania, or a delectable slice of pecan pie from Zammuto’s. Warm mittens and socks crocheted from Alpaca knit can also be purchased at Dreamswept Alpacas.
Whether in the sweltering summer or brisk fall, Rockford City Market is the place to be for the changing seasons.
What to expect at Rockford City Market this Friday, Oct. 10:
• Music — Mickey Rosenquist (rock) performing from 4 to 7 p.m.;
• Activity — Children’s games and activities;
• Rockford Etsy Booth — Cherry on Top Creations (unique paper creations);
• Rotating Artist — Karen Maher (recycled mittens); and
• Gates — Rockford Ravens Rugby Team.
